The Heart of Nature CollectionTM comprises Mike's complete collection of nature photographs. The Chicago Nature SeriesTM is a subset of this collection, consisting of images of the immediate Chicago area. Therefore, any Chicago Nature SeriesTM image is also part of The Heart of Nature CollectionTM.
LIMITED EDITION PRINTS
Each Mike MacDonald composition is available as a part of Chicago Nature SeriesTM and/or The Heart of Nature CollectionTM as a Limited Edition Photographic Print with edition numbers based on anticipated demand. Available in at least three print sizes predetermined by the artist, your print is sold alone or we can frame it for you using our standard archival mat, wood frame, and plexi-glass for safe shipping. POSTER COLLECTION
Posters are a very affordable way to own an original Mike MacDonald photograph. For each image, we offer a single poster size. Posters are similar to our prints in the they offer a similar photograph. However, they differ from our limited edition prints in many ways. Essentially, our prints are for archival and only a limited number can be sold. They can often be considered a financial investment. Furthermore, Mike's fine art limited edition prints present the highest standard of quality and have undergone great scrutiny.
Posters, on the other hand, are very nice. But, there are not guaranteed to be archival and the printed images are not closely scrutinized.

ART CARD COLLECTION
Currently, we offer 25 big, 5x7" Art Cards featuring Mike's most beloved images from Chicago, Illinois, Indiana, Arizona, California, Michigan, and Minnesota. The complete collection is also known as the The Heart of Nature CollectionTM. The Chicago, Illinois images are part of the Chicago Nature Series CollectionTM.
Though Mike has made thousands of the photographs over the years, the images used for our Art Cards are special. They are the best of the best and have been chosen for their ability to communicate.
We offer two types of Art Cards: Standard and Custom. No matter what type you choose, our Art Cards are sold at wholesale prices with quantity discounts.
STANDARD ART CARDS: These Art Cards come without any greeting printed on inside. Stock a variety of cards and use them throughout the year to stay in touch with your clients.
CUSTOM ART CARDS (minimum order = 50): We can custom imprint any message you'd like onto the inside, as well as, your return address on the envelope. We make the process easy by giving you three ways to design your personal message.
Because many people give our art cards as gifts, you may also purchase Art Card Gift Boxes with your choice of gold and silver ribbons. And, don't forget to take advantage of quantity discounts.

ART CARD GIFT BOXES
Because our art cards are frequently purchased as gifts in money-saving quantities, we thought you'd like to have a nice gift box to properly to present them. Each gift box can comfortably hold 5 to 10 cards and has a white cardboard base with a clear cover so that you can easily see the image on the top card. To hold everything together, each box comes with your choice of a stretch ribbon and bow in shiny silver or gold. Boxes are priced at $1.75/each.
WHAT IS A LIMITED EDITION PRINT?
In one of the lower corners of every Mike MacDonald Limited Edition Print appears two numbers, separated by a slash. The number to the right of the slash is called the edition number. This edition number is the maximum number of photographs, regardless of size, which may be printed from that original transparency or negative (plus fifty artist's proofs). If this edition number were 1000, then no more than 1000 prints (plus proofs) may be created. On the signed print, the number to the left of the slash identifies that specific print. Creating such a limited number of prints increases the rarity and, hence, the value of each print. This can be a good investment, especially if the artist is new and on the rise.
To prove that you own an original Mike MacDonald photograph, you will receive an official certificate of authenticity with your print.
OUR GUARANTEE
There are no refunds or exchanges on prints unless defective since our prints are made to order. Refunds and exchanges are granted on products that are not made to order, such as cards, if returned in new condition within 60 days of receipt. All shipments are insured. Therefore, products damaged during shipping are the responsibility of the carrier.
